Peter was one of the founders of MAB in 2000. He has over 30 years’ mortgage and financial services experience. Immediately prior to founding MAB, he was with Legal & General for five years where he held the position of Head of the Estate Agency Network, and also latterly as Recruitment Director.
Peter’s experience prior to Legal & General includes sales and management roles at Albany Life, before which Peter was at John Charcol.
Peter has received a number of industry awards in recent years, including Business Leader of the Year (three consecutive years), Mortgage Strategist of the Year (two consecutive years), and the Industry’s Most Influential Person.

Gareth joined MAB in 2005. Previously he spent eight years as Regional Director at Mortgage Direct (Spicer Haart Group), having begun his career in the Home Service industry with Liverpool & Victoria before moving into management.

Bharat started his working life as a biophysicist. He was worse than useless at it and meandered into financial publishing. In 1986 he launched Your Mortgage magazine which is still the dominant consumer media brand in the mortgage space. He has been deeply involved in the UK mortgage market ever since.
Bharat is currently executive chairman of AE3 Media. An MBO from Incisive Media . This is the largest publishing entity dedicated to mortgages in Europe. Its assets includes Mortgage Solutions, Your Mortgage magazine, yourmortgage.co.uk, Your Mortgage Awards, The British Mortgage Awards, The Mortgage Event, The British Mortgage Senate, Equity Release Awards,Buy to Let Forum,Your Money and the Your Money Awards. It also has the privilege of running awards programmes for Legal & General; the annual dinners for AMI and IMLA . It also runs bespoke forums and roadshows for major lenders and distributors. It also works closely with UKAR on its customer engagement programme.
Since 2008 he has also worked in a consultancy capacity for a number of lenders and distributors. He currently is working with IMLA among others in a commercial capacity.

Dan joins MAB as CTO from Picsolve International where he spent the last 18 months redefining digital attraction photography, leading the organisation to launch a new AI driven product suite. Dan has almost 15 years’ experience in Software, Product, Technology delivery and has lead multi-faceted globally dispersed technology organisations.
Dan brings with him a history of FinTech and has worked with some of the world’s leading financial brands such as Experian and Citi. Dan actively supports the UK Technology community and has recently been awarded a Fellowship of the British Computer Society.

Maria is part of the bank’s executive team and launched the UK’s first digital mortgage lender who are already establishing a reputation for disrupting the market. In just two years she has built a book of £2.3bn in completions making it the fastest growing lender in the UK and in the top 25 lenders with UK Finance.
With over 20 years’ experience in management, Maria has held roles across a number of sectors including travel, utilities and financial services. Her financial services career includes roles with Lloyds Banking Group, Leeds BS and Engage Mutual.
Recently awarded Banker of the Year by the Bank of England’s HM Treasury which recognises influential and inspiration women in banking, she was praised for her genuinely disruptive approach to mortgage lending and her energy in promoting diversity and gender equality.
Director of Mortgage Distribution, Metro Bank
Charles has over 30 years’ experience within the financial service sector, the majority gained in the UK mortgage market having held senior sales and distribution roles with a number of lenders.
He is currently Director of Mortgage Distribution at Metro Bank and has overall responsibility for both the intermediary and direct arms of the mortgage business, as well as T&C oversight and external intermediary communication.
Head of HSBC UK for Intermediaries, HSBC UK
Chris joined HSBC in 2014 as Regional Wealth Director, responsible for wealth and mortgage distribution within the branch network. At the same time he set up the UK distribution team for HSBC Intermediary Mortgages, which now has full UK BDM coverage and a telephony team with access to over 80% of the broker market.
Chris has previously held senior positions in the broker market as Director of RBS Intermediary Partners, Head of Sales & Marketing at BM Solutions and Head of National Accounts & New Build at Halifax Intermediaries.
Mortgage Distribution Director, TSB Bank
Roland joined TSB in January 2014 specifically to lead the bank’s entry into the intermediary mortgage market.
TSB Intermediary went live in January 2015 and is now the 8th largest lender. TSB Intermediary is widely and independently recognised as providing the best service to brokers. In addition to Intermediary, Roland also has responsibility for branch mortgages.
Roland has 25 years experience in mortgage related financial services, ranging from a mortgage broker to Managing Director positions with Bank of Ireland and Bristol & West.
Chief Executive, Association of Mortgage Intermediaries
Robert helped establish the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) as an independent entity on 1 February 2012. Robert joined the former parent trade body, AIFA, in October 2006, initially looking after the Association of Finance Brokers and since 2008, AMI. He looks after the day-to-day running of AMI and AFB by delivering member information and services, lobbying regulators and policy-makers and developing press relations.
Robert is a regular speaker at industry conferences and contributor to the trade press.
He brings a wealth of industry experience to the trade body having held a number of front line sales roles in personal, private and corporate banking combined with experience in marketing, training and internal audit with both HSBC and Santander.
Robert is also a non-executive director of the Buckinghamshire Building Society.
Explorer, sportsman, entrepreneur, businessman and professional speaker, Kevin Gaskell has been CEO of three iconic car brands, Porsche, Lamborghini and BMW. He innovates for businesses, improving growth and encouraging turnaround by relating tales of leadership and teamwork to motivate audiences.
A qualified engineer and accountant, Kevin joined Porsche GB in 1987 and 4 years later became the youngest ever Managing Director. On the brink of bankruptcy, Kevin turned around the fortunes of the business, and in less than five years it was the UK’s most profitable car company. Kevin was subsequently recognised as ‘One of the top 40 managers under 40 in the UK.’ He is known for his successful team building skills and work as an entrepreneur.
Moving onto BMW with the same success, Kevin was firmly established as one of the UK’s most outstanding business minds. Kevin was responsible for 500% increase in profitability and a record growth of 80% in sales.
As well as having played cricket for England, Kevin celebrated his 40th birthday by climbing Mount Everest and walking unsupported to the North Pole to raise money for Cancer Research.
